Are you aged between 9 and 16?

Do you need help with your homework?

Did you know there is a homework club during school term time at Burley Library?

The Homework Club is on Monday evenings between 4pm and 6pm

You will be able to:

• Learn how to find the information you need for your homework
• Get hlep with planning your homework
• Get help with planning revision
• Get help using the books in the library
• Use the internet for research
• Use CD-ROMs to find information
• Type up your homework on a word-processor

How to join

Come along to one of the Monday evening sessions and talk to a member of staff.

You will need to be a member of Online At Burley - you can join on your first session.

• Book the internet for 20 minute research sessions
• Book the PCs for using CD-ROMs or word-processing for 30-minute sessions
• Copy images using a scanner

There will be someone available all the time to help you on the computers and offer guidance with your homework.

Don't forget

• Online membership card
• Your planner (if you have one)
• Think about what information you need
• Your homework!
• Any relevant school book
