Community Week 2003

The aim of the week was to make students more active in their community, taking an interest in it and looking after it (by organising events like the clean-up, local history walks, and community centres visits- giving the chance to students to mingle with local residents).

Five people turned up to help clear litter from the streets around Woodhouse Square. We filled an entire skip with rubbish from the streets! We even cleared some gardens of their weeds and overgrown bushes.
