Car crime in Burley.

Crime is on the increase in Burley - or is it? I've heard of half a dozen burglaries in the last couple of weeks, plus four incidents of car crime.

Have you been burgled? Had your car broken into or stolen? Did you feel the police were helpful or were you just another statistic? ANSWER: my friend was mugged on Burley Green a week or two ago - he was assaulted and his phone and bag stolen, this was at 6.30 in the evening. SO everyone be beware on the green by yourself (JOE)

_ My flat was burgled on village avenue over Christmas '02. We came back to find the door kicked in and the property virtually flooded with rain water. Apparently, it had been like that for a day or so! The police were courteous, and secured the flat for us. Incidentally, we were insured with Halifax Insurance who were superb.
