This was our second clean up event. This time we had the added bonus of shiny new red litter pickers, new logos adorning our jackets and a bit of sun.

From 10am to 12 noon, 15 volunteers did a general clean up around the Stanmores. In just two hours we worked our way up and down the streets from the junction at top of St Anne's Mount / St Michaels Lane, to the junction with St Anne's Drive, picking up bags and bags of rubbish.

After all our effort we made our way to the Village Bakery for some wonderful bacon butties (and lots of chips!) and pie.
