Lived in Burley Village from a very early age until mid-teenage years. Many happy memories, still have contact with a few "old residents" Moved out in 1955 to live in a "posher" house in Kirkstall which had the luxury of an inside bathroom. In happy retirement now, living in an Aberdeenshire village where old style value's still prevail, people smile and say hello and mean it, doors are seldom locked and the word crime is not in the dictionary - heaven.
