Burley Green is a group of Burley residents working to promote the positive side of Burley. We will be holding regular 'clean-up' days aimed at removing graffiti, clearing litter and general tidying.

We appreciate Leeds City Council have a tough job keeping the streets clean, and want to do our bit to keep Burley a good place to live.

Our web site is a two-way forum for and by the people of Burley, Anyone can add pages or amend existing ones, adding their knowledge of the area and what happens here. We hope to draw people together to share common interests and foster community spirit.

In October 2004 we won 'Community Project of the Year' in the 'Leeds Community & City Pride' awards. We were also runners-up in the 'Innovation of the Year' category for our 'rapid response' action on graffiti.
